Public Transit
The Patchogue-Medford Library is located within walking distance of several bus stops and the Patchogue Village train station. Navigating Long Island public transit can be complicated. We recommend using a service like Rider or Google maps that can help you navigate public transit if you’re unfamiliar with it. We have copies of the paper bus schedules at the library for the public to take.
The following Suffolk County Transit bus routes stop near the library. Up to date schedules can be found here.
7A – Patchogue Railroad to Ronkonkoma Railroad (Northbound, Southbound)
7B – Patchogue Railroad to Medford, Bellport (Northbound, Southbound)

Parking in Patchogue
The village owns and operates several municipal lots in the village, including Lot 5 behind the Patchogue-Medford Library. The Patchogue-Medford Library does not have any control over the fees charged by the village, the parking policies and does not directly benefit from the fees collected. All parking spots with numbers are metered spaces, but please see the parking guide for more information.
