The Carnegie Library’s restoration now includes brand new columns that will bring a new shine to the historic building’s signature look.
Installation of four columns have been taking place in the past week, and a new chimney is also now in.
Master Craftsman Tom Iadicicco (seen in the blue shirt in the below photos) and his team have been working to install the columns onto the exterior of the building.
The Carnegie Library is set to become the home to Patchogue-Medford Library’s Young Adult department as part of an ongoing $1.5 million project. The building, currently set for completion in Jan. 2016, is located at the corner of W. Main Street and West Avenue in Patchogue Village.
