Who can reserve a museum pass?
Each Patchogue-Medford Library cardholder 18 years of age and older in good standing may check out a museum pass. One pass per library card may be checked out at a time.
How do I reserve a museum pass?
Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance. The limit is 2 reservations per pass, per month.
Where do I pick up my Museum Pass?
Some passes allow you to print the pass from home. If the pass has this symbol, , next to the name of the museum you may print the pass at any time before your visit. If you are having trouble printing, or do not have a printer, we can print the pass for you at the library, which you can also pick up at any time, prior to your visit. If the pass does not have a symbol next to it, you will have to come to the library to pick up a physical pass. Reserved physical passes can be picked-up after 4 p.m. at the Reference Desk the day prior to use.
How long may I keep the museum pass?
Printable passes do not need to be returned. Physical passes should be returned the day after your visit before 2:00. Passes can be returned at the Reference Desk or in the drop box outside the library.
What If I return the museum pass late?
If you cannot honor your reservation, please contact the library to cancel. Frequent missed reservations, or “no-shows” may affect your ability to check out a pass in the future. Failure to cancel within 36 hours will be considered a “no-show.”
What if I lose the museum pass?
If it is a printable pass, you can reprint the pass. If it is a physical pass, please contact the library at (631) 654-4700 ext. 152.
How many people does each pass admit?
Each participating museum sets its own limits regarding admittance with the pass. Please check the museum listing or contact the Library at (631) 654-4700 ext. 152 for more information.
How do I cancel my reservation?

We have a limited number of passes. If a physical pass is returned late or is lost, we may not be able to honor future reservations.
