The Holiday season can be a lot of fun; family, friends, gifts, parties and …FOOD. While I often say, “the food is the best part!” when I get on that scale after the free for all ends I realize how wrong I am. If you are like many Americans the average is up to 5lbs gained from Thanksgiving to New Year. Luckily we have January 1nd as our “New Year, new me” starting point. We all get on that fitness bandwagon January 1st and there are great tools out there to aid us in our journeys.
The library has excellent books, DVD’s and CD’s that can help you out. Just do a subject search in our online catalog or ask one of our expert librarians to assist you.

If you like having technology take away most of the guesswork, try an app. Some of the apps reviewed do everything from letting you log in sleep, water intake, food and exercise.
