Did you know you could take your passport photo? It’s true! The state Department is making it easier for you to look great and have a State-Department accepted passport photo. Case in point: Prince’s passport photo. Visit the State Department page for more details. They even have a site that will format your photo to the correct size.

If you are traveling internationally in less than two weeks or need to get a foreign visa within four weeks, you are eligible to schedule an appointment at a passport agency with proof of international travel. Travel Tech Tip
If you’re contemplating flying somewhere but want to get a good price, use Google Flights or Matrix 3.0. Google Flights is a straightforward way to find flights without going directly to an airline’s website. Matrix 3.0 is more complicated but can give you very low-cost flights when you learn how to use it. Airlines use a very sophisticated software. Every seat on an airplane has different price points. Deleting your cookies after looking at airfare prices will not lower show you lower-cost flights (It’s a myth)…but there’s no reason not to try.
