Starting Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the entire roof of the Patchogue-Medford Library on Main Street is scheduled to be replaced. We plan to continue to remain open during this process, but parking in the section adjacent to the Library’s east sidewall will be closed to the public. We will have a safety fence in place so that the entrance through the side door is safe and available, but it may need to be closed from time to time during this process. Please consider utilizing our curbside service during this time, especially if you have mobility issues or other needs. Curbside service will continue for the foreseeable future! Just call us at the Library–we’ll pull your items and walk them out to your car when you get here. The project will take approximately 6-8 weeks, and is weather dependent. We will update the website and our weekly e-newsletter with any changes. Thank you for your patience, and as always, please reach out to the director with any questions or concerns.
