On display is a solo exhibition featuring the artwork of Jinsheng Song. The paintings vary in subject matter, but include abstract works, landscapes and images inspired by Chinese philosophy and tradition. Song’s compositions often feature sinuous shapes, vibrant colors and organic forms as he draws inspiration from the world around him. Utilizing rich colors and expressive brushwork, the artist’s paintings evoke a sense of vitality and emotional depth.

About the Artist
Jinsheng Song was born in Jinzhou City in Liaoning Province, China. He graduated from The Center Academy of Arts and Design in Beijing in 1990. He has lived in the United States since 2004 and has resided in California, New York and Florida. He has participated in many art festivals and Plein Air events over the course of his 40+ year career, including several events on Long Island. Paintings by Jinsheng Song is on display in our Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery from July 2 through August 27, 2025. An artist reception is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. All are invited to attend.
