What is it?
Embrace your inner nerd and come celebrate the wonderful world of fandoms at the Main Branch in Patchogue! Pop Con is a Comic-Con-style event, that brings the feel of a large-scale event to a small-town library setting. This event is geared towards adults.
Pop Con also features an Artist’s Alley, Cosplay Contests, Costumed Guests, Gaming, Food Trucks and more!
Artist Alley
Make sure to check out amazing vendors! There will be over 20+ booths with collectibles, original artwork, crafts and more! We’re sure to have something for you.
Food Trucks
Head outside for food from Island Empanda‘s or Roxy’s Ice Cream Truck! Need some coffee to keep you going during the event? Toast Coffee + Kitchen will have a station set-up in Artist Alley.
Trading Card Wall
Take a card and Leave a card. Trade Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, K Pop Photo Cards, and more at our Trading Card Wall. Plus, play TCG downstairs with Genesis Comics and Games!
Costume Contest
Dress up as your favorite character and participate in our costume contest! Make sure to check in with a staff member the day of Pop Con to register for the contest.
Photo Ops
Take photos in our Barbie Box or using our Green Screen in the Claire Davidson Siegel or simply with a character you run into at the event!
Stamp Rally
Participate in our library-wide, Pokémon stamp rally. Go around the con and collect a stamp for each hidden Pokémon you find in different locations. Collect them all and turn in your completed Pokédex for a chance to win amazing prize baskets!
Bill Lobley

Voice Actor Bill Lobley has been voicing wholesome good guys and bloodthirsty villains alike for many years. Bill appears as Huck in the Emmy Award winning Arcane, Sealab 2021(Sparks), Bioshock Infinite(Jeremiah Fink), Bioshock II (Stanley Poole), OMG Yes!, StarWars TOR, Grand Theft Auto, Bullet Bullet, MFKZ, Lastman, Mazinger Z, plus Skeletor, the Hamburglar, and more!

Dick Terhune
Transformers, World Of Warcraft, Pinstripe, Vampire: The Masquerade, Diablo: Immortal
Dick Terhune is a CT-based Veteran Voice Actor who plays Prowl, Maccadam, the Quintesson Judge & Scientist on Transformers Cyberverse. He is the voice of the Worgen in World of Warcraft, Patchwerk in Hearthstone, and appears in other games including Vampire: The Masquerade and Diablo: Immortal.

Cosplay professional
TAFKAR Design is a Georgia raised civil engineer/ construction management professional by day and in his spare time a cosplayer with a total seven years of experience. He travels the country as a special guest, cosplay judging or competing in cosplay contests. Notably, he was Blerdcon’s 2023 Black Cosplayer of the Year! When he isn't crafting for competitions, he operates a small business with commission services and tutorials based on some of his favorite fandoms.
Rizuki
Cosplay Professional
Rizuki is a New York cosplayer who has been cosplaying on and off since 1998 and is mostly known for her Sailor Moon and video game cosplays. She enjoys challenging herself by making her cosplays or altering bought cosplays, and also streams about cosplay on Instagram and gaming on Twitch. Rizuki is the current Cosplay Coordinator for the Long Island Retro Gaming Expo and has been guesting & judging cosplay events across Long Island and New York since 2017.
