Medford Library Project Update: Governor Cuomo signed S.2877 authorizing the parkland lease on Friday, September 13. This AUTHORIZES the creation of the lease with the Town of Brookhaven for the property at the Medford Athletic Complex for the purpose of building a Library. However, the lease has NOT yet been written or signed by the Library or the Town of Brookhaven. That process will continue, and we will update here as more information becomes available. If you have questions, please call the Director at 654-4700, x300. Thank you!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Board meeting scheduled for June 20 has been cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday, June 26 at 5:30 pm. Sorry for any inconvenience.
