Mobile Printing

  • Print from your smartphone, tablet or laptop, at home or in the library.
  • The first 10 pages printed per day are free.
  • Additional black-and-white prints are 10 cents per sheet and color prints are 25 cents per sheet.
  • Items will remain in the print queue for 7 days.

How to Print from Your Device

Guest Users

Users without a library card must use Visitor Printing on SmartAlec.

Print From Your Computer or Laptop

  1. Log in to SmartAlec with your library card number.
  2. Click on Select a file to upload and select a file from your computer.
  3. Click on Upload
  4. Retrieve your items from any print release station in the library. You will need your library card number or visitor ID to release your print job.

Print From Your Phone or Tablet

  1. Open the app SmartALEC @ Your Library (available for Android and iOS)
  2. Log in with the library card number or visitor ID that you registered with.
  3. On your phone or tablet, open the item you want to print. 
  4. Select the print option as you normally would on your device.
  5. When you are asked to choose a printer, select SmartAlec Printer.
  6. Print. 
  7. Retrieve your items from any print release station in the library. You will need your library card number or visitor ID to release your print job.
Use Udemy on Mobile:
 
Udemy Business is available on mobile for both iOS and Android. Download the iOS app or Android app wherever you download your apps.
 
Once the app is downloaded you will be prompted to input your organization’s account name. Input “gale” without the quotes. 

Please note that the Udemy Business app is distinct, and Udemy Business accounts cannot be accessed via the Udemy.com mobile app.

The Udemy Business Android mobile app is not supported on Chromebooks or Chrome OS devices.
