Now on display is a solo exhibition featuring the photographic work by Steve Caputo. In his artwork, Caputo attempts to capture the vast and diverse beauty of Long Island. His subjects range from landscapes and seascapes to flowers, urban scenes and vintage vehicles. Some of his works employ an intentional camera movement, which allows him to create more abstract interpretations of traditional subject matter. For the artist, his goal is simple, “to create resonance between the viewer and the scene, and indirectly between the viewer and myself.”

About the Artist
Steve Caputo is a lifelong photographer based in Greenlawn, NY. He is a member of the Firefly Artists of Northport and regularly exhibits at their gallery. To learn more about the artist, visit his website, www.lightofdaygallery.com.
Light of Day, a solo exhibition featuring the artwork of Steve Caputo, is on display in our Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery now through June 26, 2024. An artist reception is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. All are invited to attend.
