Studio E
Studio E is Patchogue-Medford Library’s new recording studio. Patrons can learn the basics of audio recording using our professional‑grade equipment. The space currently supports both podcast and voiceover recording for up to four people at a time. Staff members are available to assist with technical questions, troubleshooting, and tutorials, but patrons are encouraged to explore the studio independently.
Studio E Rules
- No food is allowed in the studio. Drinks are permitted only with a lid.
- No live streaming is permitted.
- No video recording; Studio E is for audio recording only.
- No Bluetooth equipment may be used.
- Only wired equipment is allowed to ensure compatibility with our system.
- Patrons must be 16 years or older to reserve an appointment.
- The studio does not save any work on its computers. Please bring a flash drive with at least 8GB of storage. (Flash drives are available for purchase at the Public Service Desk)
