Register for the Not-So-Extreme Adult Summer Reading Challenge using the Sign Up form on this page (look yonder, to the right!) OR in person at the Adult Services Desk starting on June 1st. Receive a complimentary luggage tag (while supplies last!) when you register. A complimentary virtual raffle ticket with your name on it will also be entered into our series of raffle drawings (if you sign up late, you’ll be entered into the remaining drawings). There are 8 raffle prizes (see dates and details below).

Explore our short list of broad and adventurous reading categories inspired by this year’s summer reading theme, “Start Here, Go Anywhere: Adventure Begins at Your Library!” 

Once you’re registered, submit brief book reviews to earn more virtual raffle tickets! Read books from any of the categories listed. Categories are intentionally broad! You can submit as many reviews per category as you would like. The more reviews you submit, the more virtual tickets will be entered into the general raffle pool in your name. You will earn 1 virtual raffle ticket per 1 title read. 

The virtual raffle tickets you receive by submitting reviews will be in play for all of the (remaining) raffle drawings! Raffle prize winners will be notified by phone within 1-2 business days after each drawing. 

For those who wish to keep a log of their Summer Reading Adventure: Please feel free to download a printable Not-So-Extreme Summer Reading Log or ask for a copy at Adult Services. The log is yours to keep as a personal chart of your summer reading adventure! It is not linked to any prizes, and therefore does not need to be handed in. Consider it a keepsake of your adventure! 

The reading adventure of a lifetime begins on June 1st and comes to an end on August 17th!
