TO FLY Art Exhibit Now on View in Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery

Now on view at the Patchogue-Medford Library is TO FLY, a group exhibition featuring the artists of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE). The exhibition, curated by FREE’s Director of Art Therapy Ed Regensburg, LCAT, consists of seven abstract paintings. The exhibiting artists are Anthony A., Lisette A., Sophie F., Donna I., Danny K., Alicia M., and Joseph S.

FREE exhibitions feature dynamic works of art created by individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The images in this exhibition are powerful and moving, both for the viewers and the artists. The works are a testament to the important role art has in self-expression and empowerment. FREE believes that art is an expressive outlet that fortifies the artists’ successful, ongoing contributions to their communities. 2019 is the seventh year FREE has exhibited artwork at the Patchogue-Medford Library.

Surrealist Paintings by Rasa Valiene Now on View in Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery

Now on view at the Patchogue-Medford Library is the solo exhibits Paintings by Rasa Valiene. Here, Rasa displays a series of large-scale, oil on canvas, abstract and surrealist paintings that invoke an ethereal occurrence. She is fascinated by the infinite intricacy and complexity of the universe as well as nature and human consciousness.

South Bay Art Association Expresses Their Gratitude With New Exhibit

‘Tis the season to be thankful!

The Patchogue-Medford Library is proud to present Things We Are Thankful For…, a juried, group exhibition featuring select members of the South Bay Art Association (SBAA). The works on display express the gratitude of each artist, and are made in a variety of different mediums ranging from photography, painting, mixed media and more. The exhibit is on view in the lower level Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery.

The exhibit features work from the following artists: Mariann Anderson, Krystle DiNicola, Marion DiNicola, Jacqueline Dupré, Angela Flood, Laurie Fosmire, Amy Fox-Bisagni, Kenneth Jackson, Roseanne O’Reilly, Jeanne Rogers, Will Ryder, Khurshid Saleem, Laurie Samara-Schlageter, Pat Lee Sweeney, Joan Tavolott, and Robin Ziemacki.

“Touching by Razieh Jafari” Now on View in Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery

On view in the Claire Davidson Siegel Gallery is Touching, a solo exhibit featuring the artwork of Razieh Jafari. In her work, Razieh blends traditional Iranian painting with contemporary Western art concepts. These works capture the uncertainties of reality through magical realism. John Cino, from the Patchogue Arts Council, curated the exhibit, which is part of their E Pluribus Unum summer festival.
